(East Los Angeles, CA), November 28, 2020 [From The Editor’s Desk]: The 2020 World Champion Dodgers Foundation and Dodgers front-office staff members did not take a lot of time-off to continue their post-World Series celebrations with Families and Friends.

Instead, they are back to doing for their Fans and their communities, abundant extra work by providing much-needed assistance with “goody bags,” boxed and packaged daily essentials, for the many hundreds of local and regional community-based organizations and the needy Families they provide services to, and for.

This story is about their most recent activity. On November 19th, the Dodgers, along with the Dodgers Foundation, and in partnership with Smart & Final hosted the 16th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway at Dodger Stadium. 1,500 holiday meals were distributed to not-for-profit community organizations for families in need in the Los Angeles area.

The Foundation’s and other Staff members were busy at Dodgers Stadium as they conducted their patented and golden outreach efforts. Nicole Whiteman is the Executive Director and she always rises to the occasion with her ambitious and caring support team to provide assistance to the hundreds of designated and deserving families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

Even though it hasn’t been quite a month from their clinching victory for the World Series Championship against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Dodgers are not ready to rest on any of their laurels. They strive to maintain their highly-coveted and deeply-valued reputation as one of the most fan-centric and community-sensitized professional organizations, found not only in baseball and the MLB, but throughout all of the thousands of other Pro organizations in the World. Let’s Go Dodgers!!
